Innovation, the Smart Factory Embarks on a Global Expansion Journey
Seocheon, South Korea — EcoBio Medical Research Institute (Chairman: Dr. Taegyu Koo) held a groundbreaking
ceremony today for its state-of-the-art smart factory located in the Janghang Eco-Industrial Complex, Chungcheongnam-do.
The new facility marks a significant step forward in sustainable innovation and the company’s bold vision to lead the global
hair and scalp care market.
The institute is globally recognized for its flagship brand, HeadSpaK, specializing in hair loss prevention and scalp care.
With a strong presence not only in Korea but also across the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, Saudi Arabia, China,
Japan, and Hong Kong, HeadSpaK is gaining rapid traction among international consumers. The franchise offers direct
treatment services and is currently featured in five Lotte Department Store branches.
Dr. Koo, who holds a Ph.D. in Organic Material Engineering, serves as President of the International Ingriée Association,
Chair of the International Head Spa Association, President of the Korean Society of Beauty Management, and Lead Advisor
in the Ingriée Beauty Convergence Program at Kwangwoon University.
In 2024, he was honored with the Best K-Beauty Franchise Award at the Global Culture Masters Awards.
Since its founding in 2013, EcoBio Medical Research Institute has focused on developing natural ingredient-based solutions
